The deathtoll of the earthquake and tidal waves in South Asia has rissen to aproximately 12.000 people. In Atjeh, north-west Sumatra 4400 people have died. In Sri Lanka 4300, in south-east India 2200 and in Thailand 300.
This morning there was an earthquake of 8,9 on the Richter-scale west of the Indonesian Island of Sumatra. Cause the epic centre of the quake was deep under the ocean high tidal waves were caused spreading rapidly.
The deathtoll could be a lot higher. There is little unknown of the smaller Islands in the Indian Ocean and the highest tidal waves still have to reach the east coast of Africa.

It looks like sri lanka took the hardest beat alot of people dead and 1 million people lost their home and then the country is small and poor so itīs gonna be hard for them
