Both the restaurants are ok The Red Room is in Bangtao Beach but near the road. However Bangtao area near the beach is devestated.
Silk sits real high on top of a brand new shopping center called The Plaza and is ok as well.
In fact right now with many beach side restaurants closed business is very busy for me and I have very low staffing as some have lost a loved one or their house were demolished. The owner of Silk has just deposited a large amount of money in both staff members accounts who lost their house so their family can buy the basic items to get by. The guy is a class act!

I really feel for the ones here who sold fish by the beach or all the other little businesses that just would get by they are really hurting now.

Gave blood today as I have A- which is needed.

I think things will rebound but it will take some time.
