Sometimes it really does seem that Thailand's powers that be operate in a Monty Python world - such nonsense like daft bar closing times, whistles for farang women on arrival to ward of rapists, a nurse as finance minister make me wonder if somewhere there is a Ministry of Silly Walks tucked away in Bangkok that one day we'll have to get a chop from to get a visa!!!
