When I lived in the UK, the local Thai restaurant (Berkshire) sold Chang beer, even for take away. I would be surprised if you can't get hold of it.
Then again, I'm a big beer drinker, but whether it's Change or Singha or Heineken, it all wouldn't make a big difference for a good time out;-)
