It is a certainty that if you are a farang, then your only target market is another farang in the real estate market of Thailand. If you are used to the "liquid" markets of stocks, bonds, currencies, commodities, et. al. then I can see the hesitation.
However, I still maintain that an educated investment in certain parts of the Thailand real estate is a GREAT bet... granted you did the research first.
