I find it very hard to understand how you ranted about the topless foreign tourist being murdered, but seem to think that it's OK to just carry on as normal even though 143 Thais have been killed during the 3 days of Songkran so far, 42% of which were due to alcohol. Emergency callouts have trebled compared to last year, but when the Thai government tries to do something about it, you claim they are being petty minded.
As I see it, they are trying to do something about reducing the road deaths during songkran and if banning alcohol sales proves to be the answer, then so be it.

As much as i disagree with some of the laws that be this is one i fully agree with, and if your a bar owner i'm sorry but a lot of lives saved is more valuable than a few baht profit.....and yes i am a drinker !!!!
