Actually my first version mention "we don't care if you lie about peeking in the manual". While that is not too bad there is a chance that some bible belt fanatic will get a hair up his/her ass. In principal I would care, but if there is a chance I could lose one sale ... it goes.
Besides the fact that you are correct that PC is more prevalent in the US, I would take that stand anywhere in the world.
