No to sky.. Most of the Euro sats are below the horizon..
While it is technically possible to keep a slingbox at home pay the sat there and use the slingbox to view in Thailand it requires a pretty high end (for Thailand) internet connection and getting one of those is more like voodoo and the dark arts than simply buying one..
