YouTube - Cathay Pacific Boeing 747 landing Hong Kong Kai Tak Airport
Kai Tak approach was fun, especially watching the 'first-timers' faces as the plane seemed to still be in a big turn right up until hitting the tarmac! Impressive in a 747. We used to use it for troop rotation, mainly Gurkhas coming in for border patrol. I do miss it.
