55555 I dont know. The younger tigers were all asleep when i got there. One of the female keepers(no the other sort of female keeper) got into the pens to gently wake them. They didn't looked drugged at all. They are nocturnal after all. As for the larger Tigers they didn't seem to me to be sedated but I'm not an expert. There are western volunteers there, I'd like to think they'd spill the beans if the tigers were being doped.

i was at the Phuket Zoo and it was horrible how sedated the big tiger was
it was right after tsunami and one of the coolest things i ever got to do was play with 2 tiger cubs by myself for about 30 minutes
it was awesome!!
