The coyote girls/hostesses were extremely pretty and their English is excellent. They are there to work and no barfine is possible from what I could tell. If you live in Bangkok or have longevity there, then it IS possible to get phone numbers though for behind the scenes liasions. I went with a member and so I was told that.
The girls were also quite young, mostly uni girls and graduates with day time jobs wanting to dance and have fun while making some extra cash. It is not at all a hard core place (zero gogo atmosphere there), but more of a looksee type place. Most clentele were Asians (rich Thais). It can be an expensive night for sure, but it is a great change up on a night out.
If I lived in Bangkok, I would buy a membership, but go only once per month if that. It's a "different" kind of experience, and hard to describe... Not a gogo, not a beer bar, not a soapie, not a FL disco, not a beergarden, etc. It is just "different", but it completes the portfolio of places that are currently available to go to in Bangkok. It is a perfect example of why Bangkok nightlife blows away the rest of Thailand
I'm gonna guess that something similar will hit Phuket in due time as someone tries a similar formula in Patong or Phuket Town (or maybe not due to the lack of universities/office jobs)...
At the end of the day, it is a place worth visiting at least once for all...
