Nicke, I know this seems very odd but it has been stated on thaiimmigration.com and also by advisors like sunbelt asia on thai visa that if you have a purely online business and if its profits do not come from thailand (invoicing in thailand, thai customers and clients, etc) you do not need to pay income tax in Thailand.
I myself found this very odd but it seems thier definition of remote work or telecommuting did not seem to define online work (with non thai companies) as a thai based activity.
I will see if I cant dig up some details later.
