MY POINTS WERE made after speaking with my friend who was there and who i have already pointed out was very angry at what he saw happening and does not condone anything that took place but i simply pointed out that the organisation was C RAP ! i defy you to put 150.000 fans from any club in the uk and give them free reign to drink booze for 14 hours and not expect it to kick off all it takes is a handful of idiots and it will explode the arrangements made were inadequate in the least not enough POLICE/TOILETS/FOOD OUTLETS no control on numbers travelling down from scotland and no checks (motorway stops of coaches ) to check on the sort of people who were coming down drunk already i watched a coach leaving my place of work at pollok in glasgow leaving at 0815am and half of those boarding were already sloshed strathclyde police should have become involved and stopped these louts travelling

as i said when GLASGOW celtic played in seville you had different circumstances mainly the cost for to go to seville including flights and hotels and spends you would be needing around £1,000 that means that only people in employment and generaly a little older age group who had some money could travel to get to manchester these scumbags were paying £20 return

i am not saying its all manchester police and councils fault glasgow council and starthclyde police should have become involved in the plans as well.

but 35,000 true fans in the stadium caused no problem at all and of the other 115,000 outside you might be talking of maybe 2,000 scumbags at most and i repeat again if you dont provide toilet facilities then animals which is what these guys become with booze in them will behave like animals.

the champions league final of 2005 and the uefa cup final of 2007 were both held in glasgow with absolutely no problems at all maybe because they were organised properly !
