You might want to check your settings or leave a window open a finger width crack. I find having just the tiniest bit of fresh air makes a big difference and doesn't work the a/c much harder. The air con is trying to rip out the humidity. It is incredibly wasteful to introduce a humidifier back into the mix. A bit of fresh air is much better if possible.

Another side benefit of having a Sharp Air Filter is I never wake up with a dry mouth. I think it is due to the way it ionizes the air by splitting air borne water molecules. So you are not as dry and you are breathing very clean air.
