I never book hotels. Always just turn up. Stayed in the Concorde round the corner before. Ok it's decor is better, it's bigger and more upmarket than the Cabana...but I don't need all those extra trimmings and Cabana is half the price. The money saved you can spend across the road :-) Good clean room, good location and tea/coffee making facility is all I need.

If you don't know where it is...take the monorail from the LRT station near KL Sentral to Bukit Nanas...then 5 minute walk past Hard Rock and Concorde, up another 300 metres and left at X-roads and there you are.

Straight up the road from Cabana again it's only 5 minutes to walk to the Suria Mall under the Petronas Towers. Stacks of good cafes/restaurants in there...excellent food court on about the 4th floor? with Malay/Thai/Chinese food. Internet shop on the ground floor near Tower Records...RM8 per hour...open 10 - 10.
