If she is in Patong and you do not know of a "respectable" place she works or get her income from and can verify this, then she is a working girl...

I don't know much about dutch immigration but guessing for her to get a visa you must assume responsibility for her, including return ticket and so on. She might go missing on you, if she is a working girl Holland might be a good place to do just that...
From the information you have given it seem clear that you do not provide her with money, nor do you know where and how she gets it..
If you provide her with money and she goes to Patong, there is something very wrong.

But then again she might come from a rich family and is on vacation in Patong, would not bet a Black Death on it tho..
