Yes, its big in Sweden but not allowed in most other european countries. Possession is not illegal but illegal to sell. The Swedish manufacturers have for a long time trying to sell in it Europe but EU say no.

Australia is very strict, so even if you bring in for personal use, they will confiscate it. Most other countries allow personal use, including Thailand.

When I went to Malaysia last time, I was surprised to see Swedish snus/snuff for sale at Seven Eleven stores, at 80 baht/pack.
