Wherever you are you should put your house in order.
Been a while since I made that post and should probably add that my comments went beyond just Western mindset.
Personally I am very anti violence and perplexed when I see anyone get to that point or even enjoy watch it.
I have never been to a boxing match of any type and you wouldn't catch me dead going.
In fact I have never watched a complete match on TV.
I could go on about many events that I avoid because I have zero interest in violent sports, movies, etc.
What I think is a bit different in Thailand (not more or less justified) is that the opportunity for the parent to prosper from engaging the kids in such sport is much greater than in the West.
