I would like to spend one year in thailand, as a tourist (not working). I would like to know if it is possible. I read somewhere that i have to get a 3 months visa then request an extension...but can i repeat that for one year ? Because i'd really like to spend 12 months in Thailand and visit as much as i can

I would like to buy Opened flight tickets and i will have around $7000 CA (or $5700 USD or 220 307 THB in my bank account, after buying tickets)

Is that enough money ? to live there for a year ? to get the needed visas ?
I am opened to suggestion, every day for the next year, until im ready to go. I get more and more informations.

Thank you for your help
Im glad i found this forum

I spent around 70-80k in 3 weeks (excluding hotel costs/plane tickets)
But i lived like a king more or less. Im pretty sure i could live a month for 50k Bath a month (Including hotel costs)

But 18k I wouldnt even try it.
