Very close to the reality I would guess... Sounds like he has a chip on his shoulder about western women but maybe hes earned it..

The few things I might take exception to is his description of many of the older guys to being shewd and worldly wise and unlikely to get fleeced.. Maybe that was the case when to be an expat required a bit more smarts and adventure than it does now, seems very easy these days for guys on a pension or with later life savings to make the jump and 'theres no fool like an old fool' when it comes to being taken.. Happens across the age range..

But yeah in the main I would say its very accurate.
