The Blue pill - and Why???

A question about this famous pill.
And it is with respect and with no hidden agenda or misplaced humour.
I guess (from your posts, that) many of you are many years younger than I am.
But I do keep on hearing tales of this blue pill....
Now, something like this is a wonderful phenomenon, but I have to ask - WHY?????
I am in *no* way being facetious, I just can't understand the need behind it.
The reason I say this - is (frankly) that you all seem so horny (as am I !!!) and therefore wouldn't need this little wonder.
Even at my advanced age (forties!) - if the wind blows, I'm there, baby!!!!!!!!!!
So - why take Viagra - and please - I AM NOT taking the mick, it's just a question to people who are using it.
