Agree with you geespot,soccer is no 1 spectator sport.But not in myhouse.With all the prima donnas in the game, the gamesmanship and cheating it pales in significance to the game of RU for me. Football has become big business now and success or failure can make or break a team. The skill factor also seems to be in decline and its hard to think of more than a couple of world class England players. As for Scotland, well you have my sympathy.Both rugby and football teams are dire and because of foreigners and a small core of players it will be years before I can see them progress. But they will,just look at the Irish and Welsh RU sides.Both a laughing stock not so long ago but on the up now.In fact with England rebuilding I fancy a settled Irish side can beat them in Dublin.
Enough of this, I need a beer
