at the ATM you pay about € 4,00 for withdrawal. With my ATM card I normally withdraw 26.000 Baht (about € 500). Never tried more. Maybe you can go up to 30.000. Then you pay less than 1%, thats better than going shopping with credit card. I don´t know, if the exchange rate on all ATMs is the same.
For money exchange I prefer Farmers Bank and Thai Military bank, think they give the most value for money
