Its the same deal where travel must be completed by April 15, so its not good for a Songkran holiday trip.
$650 including taxes and fees to fly from JFK here on the east coast of the US is a good deal. No frequent flyer miles for this though.

I'm starting my trip (JFK-BKK) on April 11, and returning near the end of April, so I cannot use the Deal of the Month.
However, the price I got from Cathay for my dates was $824 after taxes, which is still way less than all the other carriers for April flights, PLUS I earn FF Miles! I booked it.
Maybe since my dates fall within part of the Deal's discounted timeframe, the price is still cheap? Good for me, though!
