phuket air, never again.
i was delayed for 22 hours on christmas eve and i was put up in the hilton for the night.
nobody there to tell us what was happening and by the time we were boarding next day, the passangers for the next days flight were arriving ,all trying to get on board as well. imagine having to sit at gatwick for the full christmas day.
coming home, they could not get the door to close on the tarmac, causing a delay of 1.40 hours and then the refueling stop in dubai took another 1.30 hours.
the plane is a big old airbus and not very reliable. i think they only have two or three planes doing this route and if one has a problem, you will have no chance of arriving on time. this is a worry for people like me, having to catch an onward flight to dublin.
i would never use them internationaly again, but on internal domestic flights in thailand, they are fine and have plenty of back up planes.
