read recently that they have cut services from LGW due to low occupancy rates on board even though its only for a short period.

A/c are ex-KLM B-747's and although obviously old are in reasonable condition.Also as they operate out of the UK the Civil Aviation Authority would not issue operators licence if Phuket Air did not come up to UK safety and operating standards.

I've flown with them every time to BKK/HKT and yes there were delays but at the end of the day you get what you pay for!
