It would not bother me if that went on, I lived in the red light district in Amsterdam and could care less what body parts girls wanna sell and what men want to buy...that is your thing. What bothers me is the lack of the "normal" scene and how the "me so horny girls" as I call them, make their way, and in turn so do all you Johns, into EVERY place but the most exclusive.
In Bangkok every after hours place has *****s there or bar girls. And the Thai, men who run them and women who work at them, are definitely not too fond of western women. I have friends that have been asked if they were ladyboys, I have been insulted, asked if I was a western prostitute, told I couldn't come in places because I would detract from the girls business etc.
I also like Thai men so I would also not even mind meeting normal, not on the game, thai men. But the big thing I want, is just bars where there are no girls with motives to gain anything and no men there to be given fake attention. I want to go to a nightclub where loads of cute young...perhaps even mostly western, guys are and girls are enjoying themselves on holiday or as residents, and just dance and pull and do everything the way it usually plays out rather than how the "scene" plays out. It makes me so sad as I feel like Thailand is for couples, families, or single men and I feel like I am in this totally left out demographic that is actually not even liked by those on the scene if I go out.(other than their fascination with my tits and the constant...aaaaawww sueeeeey sueeeeey I get).
I am not saying this because I don't get attention etc, I get attention so that is not the issue, my issue is that I want to keep it real and not be among the whole scene all the time. I don't like the scene, find it nasty and really naff, and just want some normal nights out.

You’re living in the wrong place/country me thinks....
Just to keep it short & sweet, you have two options:
You can try and change the way Thailand lives, be a 21st century’s Dox Quixote, lobby the Thai government to make prostitution illegal (hang on a sec… haven’t they done that already?? Hhhhmmm….) or alternatively you can just accept it the way it is, with its pros and cons.
And if by any chance you choose the second option and calm down a little… who knows, maybe you too can get laid.
