Hi joe,
I know the jombiten beach hotel, but never been there.
I stayed 2 times at "summer beach inn", a little bit further on jomtien beach road.It was ok, no joiner fee. Payed 700b/night + 50b breakfast(which i asked to double, cause it was to small for me
)
The beach is ok,same as pattaya, not very big, but ok, don't worry.
About the bath busses, don't worry, there are plenty. Every 5-10 minutes one passes. You should not pay more then 10b/person just to the traffic lights near to walking street. On that corner you can also take a waiting bath bus to return to jomtien. Watch out at night, taxi drivers try to charge you more!10b/person is ok!
When you stay on the bus and go further then walking street, you're expected to pay 20bath/person, no matter where you get of (central pattaya, big c,...)
About walking, well i think it's a little too far, i think you can count on an hour to walk from your hotel to walking street.I don't know about you, but i prefer spending my time on some other things in Pattaya
