MMM do not totally agree on this one.....

I come to Thailand for 15 years now. If you stay at touristic places, like Phuket, Koh Samui, it can really su*ck!

As tourist complain about the chili, many restaurants make Europeanised food. That this is bit less spicy, I don't care about , but that it has no flavour and is more sweet then anything, that is a different matter...

In the North, food is more regular, then in the South. In Phuket, I am not that found of the green Curry. They put bamboo-shoots in it, it taste to sweet, and it is not refined enough. In stead of "green" it is even more yellow! They put also a lot of vegetables in it, wich should not be!

I like this plate a lot, when it is well made! In fact I ate it perfect only once, and that was in the Traditional Thai restaurant in the Dusit Laguna!
But I normally do not eat in those fancy places!

I don't know if I told this here, when I sold my wine-business, i started a Thai restaurant in Antwerp. I had a very nice chef, wich was in his free time a "ladyboy" by the way! I sold the business after 3 years because my chef was made parter in an other restaurant and because Belgian taxes took all the pleasure of working away!
