ways around this transfer all large assets to another family member but you had better trust them too !!!
your super also they are entitled to half even if you are nowhere near retirement age.
so if you have $50 000 in super she gets $25 000 which you must pay on divorice settlement 12 months after seperation
really scary stuff.

Hey there Pacific Pesos (aussie dollar), yeah that is what bothers me after 30 years working I think I have a little more than the figure that you quoted and as I am 3 to 5 years off moving to Thai I wouldn’t risk that for any female. Glad to have met you recently in MTB.

I know what River is saying about trust but to me that is way past trust and leaning towards lunacy.
The educating of Thai woman on just what they can get out of us might end up the same way the Filipinas used to go a few years back. Get here have a kid after 12 months ditch the man and then he pays for the next 20 or so years. Hope that it does not come to that. I can’t make any new monkies, had the snip, but risk everything that I have worked for over 30 years and what I have left after 2 divorces, nope!
I have seen guys on the bones of their ar se after having to borrow to pay out the super and I can’t afford it and do not plan on taking that risk.
