Ahhh but they are only as illegal as the downloader makes them.

I have Endorphine & Lanna VCD'S both, but they are in my daughter's bedroom. When a user copied their VCD and uploaded, I did download so I can watch on my digital media player in my living room. But I need to be honest I have downloaded The Trek and watched 3x without buying it yet. I am a criminal. :P But yes, point taken. Actually, I do want that on DVD come to think of it.

I did mix the two up there, thank you. Replace "Red Bull" with "Ansel Adams". But as you pointed out case is pending.
I think so too, DRM will only add fuel to the fire. I am happy that many Western artists are using DRM on their own with super label's such as Sony. Untill the media giant's step down from the pedastool's the world will disregard the efforts of DRM even if by means of hacks. I don't even download American music, but I can certainly see the justification.
