What Meridian? You have 2: Meridien Phuket Beach Resort and Meridien Yacht Club.
First one between Patong and Karon with own Beach. Second one further away on Nai Harn.
Not guest friendly. Joiner fee. Very good hotels but if you are single why do you want to stay there? Nothing in the vicinity, so you need tuktuk all the time. I had my cousin and his wife staying in Yacht club. I think it is 45 minutes from Patong. Good Italian restaurant. Friends who stayed with their son in Karon Meridian liked the hotel but would not go there again. A small bottle of water in their minibar was more than 100 Baht, so they went shopping in Patong.
I like good hotels located close to the beach. You can go to the beach and walk to the bars. No tuktukmaffia needed.
