Arrived in Bangkok 9 hours ago. Flew with Scandinavian Airlines from Copenhagen in Business class and had a really good flight. Good food and wine and on top of that I got like 6.5 hours of sleep on the plane.
Arrived at the Mariott Resort & Spa by taxi about an hour after landing.. This hotel is amazing.. I have been to a lot of hotels but this one really is something special. Also I dont know if it is normal that Thai people are this friendly but if it is then I am already loving it here.
Just got back from a trip into Bangkok. Took the BTS to Siam and walked around oosing for a while. Ate some food and took the BTS to the Silom road area. Bought some stuff but didnt go in anywhere. Kinda knackered so went back to the hotel. Gonna chill out with a movie on the laptop and then off for some sightseeing tomorrow.
Cant wait to get to Phuket though. I can imagine that a couple of days more here would be enough.. very busy city
