I'd say a pool is fairly high on the agenda, last time I stayed at C&N I just used the pool down at the end of Soi Sansabai but it's always good to have one at the hotel outside your room for the before breakfast wakeup dip or late night dip.

More importantly I think location plays more of a role in my choice now and the saff if I know the location and staff are good I'm basically a happy camper.
