The most annoying thing about the taxi trip from the airport to Patong,is that they always encounter " a possible problem with the traffic in Kathu" and they take you through the golf and housing project nearby !!
This have happened on my last 2 trips,even when I arranged with the hotel to pick me up at the airport,we ended up on the golf-promotion trip
We passed through the golf course with the speed of 10 km/h when the driver said:"Looks nice or what ?",which by then I replied :"Naa....I ****ing HATE golf !!!" .....that was the magic word,he speeded up and brought me to Patong in no time without uttering another word again
