Im scared of the taxi driver now after hearing all this Im going to walk to patong next time and save 550 Baht
To be honest the taxi drive is always a buss for me and not too much worries me on the ride always happy to be back.
Last time I was taken the back way throught the golf course but must have had a deaf & dumb driver he didnt say a word from airport to hotel !!
