I took a taxi last week from airport to patong. Driver did stop at agency on the way claiming he needed directions to Harry's hotel. Agent lady asked about another room, I firmly said no and we went on no problem. Stayed one night at Harry's - terrible. Walked in to Patong Garden resort got awesome new room for 1800 bht with breakfast. Great trip!
