Good idea Aussie Dollar. It shouldn't be hard to find a place to rent in Kamala as the place is dead after the tsunami. You have the beach, enough bars to keep you happy and plenty of English speakers. I have a nice little bungalow that cost me 5k baht a month. 1 large bedroom with ensuite, small kitchen/dining room.
