When bad things happen to us unexpectedly, when we are taken by surprise and our plans are upset and our life is thrown into chaos and uncertainty, then, of course, you are going to have much anxiety, many things on your mind, and spend some time worrying and wondering what is the best course to take, and where your future life is going.
But December is far off still, fortunately, and decisions don't have to be made immediately. Any decison that is made need not be final.
Perhaps, best to try and take things one day at a time and not think too far ahead. I know that is easy for me to say, since I am not faced with all your troubles. Easier said than done. But just the same, easy or not, I think it best to try to relax, settle down, and focus on the day-to-day chores of which you have no shortage, to appreciate that you still have beautiful children, a lovely wife, and a wonderful home. When trouble strikes, sometimes it is a good time to stop and count your blessings. Think of how much you have, not of what you've lost. Don't worry about the loss of your youth. You are younger than you think! There are so many good days ahead. To see your children grow like the flowers, to bloom into adolescence, and someday adulthood. Treasure them while they are young! They are the most precious gift you ever will have received.
One day at a time, my friend.
