I lived north of BKK for approximately 2 years. My Thai is very rusty however I manage to surprise most of the Thai resturant workers here in the US. Probably the most difficult thing in speaking a little Thai is that the locals assume you are fluent. My 1 word out of 5 doesn't always cut it.
I will definitely give Wanida a try and submit a FR if that is appropriate. Any particular names you may want to pass along via the messanger would be appreciated.
