always cover up as everyone else is saying. I had a friend who went to the Philippines for the first time and had unprotected sex with multiple partners and got gonorrhea. We were able to figure out who he had caught it from, told her to get tested, and she came up positive. Another friend had been with her around the same time but did not catch anything as he was always protected. Having your girl tested will at least calm your fears about most STD's but HIV testing takes 3 months like a few of the members have mentioned and in that time that the test will take she could have picked it up from another BM. I was with a girl in the PI for 8 nights and was always protected for intercourse but got a chlamydia infection in my eye when, at the end of my trip, she was sad and crying and I wiped away some of her tears and was crying also and must have infected my eye when I wiped the tears out of my eye. It was easily treated once I found a doctor who knew what he was doing and the infection went away in less than a week. I also have another friend who spends 3 months a year in the PI and has about 6 girls that he goes with during that time and he has never had a problem in 10 years. He is married and has to be very careful but he has never thought about not going with a BG while he is away from his wife.
The drunker that you are the more careful you should be as it is always easy to say "let it ride" or "it takes too much effort" or "it dulls the pleasure" as an excuse. The more partners that you have the more risk you are at.
Just stay smart and protect yourself and have a great time. Don't let some statistics scare you into missing the vacation of a lifetime. Also, you can get most anti-biotics and other cures for most STD's over the counter in Thailand and the PI for a very cheap price compared to the US and Europe so buy some if you have any worries and get tested when you get home. If something pops up, you have the cure at a fraction of the normal cost and better safe than sorry. Yes, I know that will not work for HIV but it will for almost everything else.
Find out from the bar owners who are their new girls and that might help minimize the problem also.
