With such low barfines, I find it much easier to get round the bars enjoying a few drinks and chatting and getting to know the girls before making a choice.
That way, you make a more informed choice and you have some security from the bar.

I had no idea there were any bars in Karon with girls, let alone that many! Is Kata Beach similiar? Again, didn't know there were any bars like that there, either. This is one reason why I'll consider myself a bona fide newbie until I make at least 6 trips to paradise (aka Phuket)!
