Tyfon, you're right about the swab! I had chlamydia and it wasn't really bothering me but that swab felt as if she had snipped a chunk out of my urethra! There was no blood in my sample after the swab but there was a bit of something floating around in it. Probably part of the lining of my ripped and torn urethra! I believe my local GUM clinic now uses a new urine test that makes the swab redundant.
I have had to go for the 3 month check in accordance with scenario 3 above. Not because of a broken condom but because of giving in to the temptation with a LLT girl to go BB. It seems easy to resist the temptation for a few days but then familiarity and complacency set in.
I am determined to try harder next visit but in the meantime I am keeping my fingers crossed for my forthcoming test at the end of next month.
Incidentally, I have never had a condom break but I find they tend to be a little short and I recently had one come off and she had to retrieve it with her fingers. They seem to be ok for girth, just a little short in length and I think I am about 'average' size.
