Just went to see the movie "Bewitched."
Went to the theater to see Batman Begins. The other day I got there to late and ended up seeing Herbie Fully Loaded instead. Today I got there on time but left my money at home, had to got to the ATM. By the time I got back, I was 20 minutes late for Batman, so I went to see Bewitched.
As I watched the opening credits and few minutes of the show, I was like, "OMG, this is going to be awful, why did I come to this movie?"
I said Herbie was good fun.

Bewitched is hilarious.

I guess I haven't yet seen a Will Ferrell movie I didn't like(altho Elf was very borderline). Ferrell is hilarious as usual. He came through and gave me my money's worth.
But what was really the big surprise was Nicole Kidman. I neve much like her before I saw "Eyes Wide Shut" which was not the best movie but sure did demonstrate that the woman has an excellent body.

Since she split with Cruise, her acting does seem to have come up a notch. Still, I didn't expect much from her. Immediately, I saw that she can be a very good comedienne, although part of that may have been rising to Will Ferrell 's level or good chemistry with him. You could tell that they were both having fun with it.
But then there were certain moments, when she gave a look into the camera, smiled, and fairly purred her lines. All of a sudden, it was like looking at a reincarnation of Marilyn Monroe, who IMHO was one of the sexiest women ever to walk the face of this planet. The coy looks, the little girl/grown woman sensuality and sexiness that Marilyn exuded was about as sexy as it gets. In her early movies, I saw a little of that quality in Angelina Jolie, but never as much as Nicole hits it in this film. MM was an excellent comedienne, really at her best in the comedies. Nicole in her best moments in this movie comes close to that.
I highly recommend this movie!!
Good fun!

Nicole at her sexiest, at the top of her game. Will Ferrell turning in his usual performance, funny and outrageous, a little over the top, but that is Will, and if you like him, over the top is not a bad thing. Above and beyond all of that, it actually manages to be quite romantic!! Some may not like the romantic aspect, but if you are a romantic at heart like me, you will love it.
