And if he does not go to the bar scene? If his Thai friend is known in RCA (Forte and other clubs) I think he will have a big advantage. No barfines and maybe students and so on.
I have a friend living with his family in BKK, representing my gouvernment concerning technology and environment cooperation. His son is in his twenties, living since years in BKK and visiting the places young Thais hang out...not like most farang's night scene like Nana or Parpong and he had a good time, even with Philippina girls from the bands. I mean RCA, Hard Rock, some other disco's
