I have felt those tremours too during my visits to BKK.
My guess is that the heavy traffic makes the ground move, because BKK was built on clay, the whole area is actually a big river delta. It's like the city was on top of jelly that will sway on any movement!
There are earthquake trembles that can be felt in the capital from time to time, but personally I think it's the cars that makes the city shake!? or if you stay in the Na Na area of town it might be all the movement coming from hotelrooms were farangs are boom booming Thaibargirls!?
