the aunt in nong khai visits has been a few times not once only.
on the internet, and she has been undertaking english lessons for 3 months.
two of her aunts are teachers with moderate english skills, so they also help with her language development.
I speak some moderate thai and my issan skills are improving with practice.
90% of our phone conversations, are conducted in thai. which makes it slow and hard work for me, but it is worth it.
she attends english lessons for 16 hours a week now, upon arrival in oz she has work organized through one of my family members and will continue english lessons at night through qualified teachers within my family.
