It was quite funny where I grow up in England. There were, and still are, alot of American air-force bases in the area. Which are of course American territory as soon as you pass the gates. Therefore American laws are used on all the bases!

So being a young tear-away that I was. I used to go drinking in village pubs in the area on Sunday afternoons. The amount of 'kids' from the bases that used to frequent these places was stupid! The amount of times we had to drop these drunks off at the base on the way home was incredable! Though not all were the children of staff serving, some were service people under 21!

So by walking 50 feet through a gate the drinking law would drop from 21 to 18 (Ahem). I have another example about statuatory rape, but i wount go into detail as im not sure on that law in the USA.
