I agree with you on the first part of your post, That money is no1, Not looks and that cleanliness and not behaving like a d1ck are a bonus!
But I think you are wrong about the age thing, I think thats a bit of a myth to be honest, In my experience the majority of the girls take to the younger guys really well, And if anything its a bonus to be young.
And I dont think he will have any problems getting into the clubs, Although strictly speaking it is illegal for an 18yr old to drink in the bars and the clubs, I think the chance's are extremely slim that he will get stopped or checked for ID in any of them, Obviously thats with the exception of places like the Q bar in BKK and upper class places like that, But there are no places like that in patong that I know of, So I really dont see him having problem.
My advice to you Rizza, Is just be yourself and have a blast, If the girls see you having fun, They will come flocking to you because at the end of the day "Girls just wanna have fun"
And if you appear to be a fun loving guy and up for a laugh, They will CUUUUMMMMMMMM
