Etihad are excellent. Paid £432 return including taxes and went with them in June from Gatwick. They use new Airbuses with entertainment systems in seatbacks. Multinational crews very good to. Couldn't fault them really and the 2 hour changeover in Abu Dhabi wasn't a hardship and gave a nice chance to stretch the old legs.
To be honest I now hate the nonstop 12 hour flights and prefer the ones that go via the Gulf :-)
